Welcome to my blog!

BOESER Transmission & Auto is an independent repair facility located in Savage, Minnesota. We perform all types of repairs, from oil changes to transmission repairs and overhauls. There are many other categories that we work on, including brakes, suspension, alignments, electrical, computer repairs, the list is very long. This 4th valve in the serial valves. Shows very excessive wear. Hydraulic pressure is almost nonexistent inside the transmission. This is usually the case when somebody drives the vehicle until it doesn’t move anymore.

Looking at this 3rd valve in a series of valves. We find that the wear is starting to get a little more excessive. We are starting to experience a larger pressure loss in many aspects of the transmission.

The second valve illustrates slight wear on the pressure regulator valve causing low line pressure. At this stage of the game, you’re starting to feel a shudder when applying.

I’m going to touch base on the most common problem that I see with this transmission. It is a worn pressure regulator valve. This valves in the pump and the transmission needs to be removed for access.

It is not uncommon for repair facilities, especially dealerships, to suggest replacing the transmission. Experiences. We have done more repairs on these than replacements.

Another issue is the sleeve moving inside the drum. It will allow the sealing ring on this hub to get forced out of the groove.
